Choosing the correct can liner
CHOOSING THE CORRECT CAN LINER IN 3 EASY STEPS
| 1. RESIN TYPE | |||
| Are there sharp objects being thrown away? | |||
| YES | Use Linear Low Density … Green or Blue boxes below | ||
| NO | Use High Density … Yellow box below | ||
| 2. BAG SIZE | |||
| BAG WIDTH | = 1/2 of the outer circumference of the container. | ||
| BAG LENGTH | = Add the height of the container + 1/2 of the bottom diameter + 3“ - 5“ for overhang. |

| 3. STRENGTH | |||
| Determine the average amount of weight that is being put into the container. Use chart below to determine the gauge that is 3 Strength needed. Other factors to consider are how the bag is used if without a container and bag is dragged or carried from place to place use the heavier PGB or T bags. | |||
